Power Busbar System is a modular, electrical transmission and distribution system created by insulating the current carrier, which consists of Aluminium or Copper busbar conductors positioned in an enclosed body. The busbar system is used to distribute electrical current to a point along the route within the facility, starting from a point such as a transformer, generator, or panel, as well as to distribute electrical current to where the power is predominantly consumed in the facility by receiving electrical current from receiving points where tap-off boxes are installed.
Installed vertically, the same systems can be used for rising-mains applications, with tap-offs feeding individual floors. Certified fire barriers are available at points where the busbar passes through a floor slab. Protection devices such as fuses, switch fuses, or circuit breakers are located along the busbar run, reducing the need for large distribution boards and the large quantities of distribution cables running to and from installed equipment.
E-Line KX Series Compact Busbar Systems are used in horizontal and vertical energy distribution and transmission in Bolt-on (supply from the junctures) and Plug-in (from window points on the busbar housing and the junctures) types. In addition, they can be utilized at segments of factories and buildings where electrical outlets are not required for transmission purposes only. With its special design,a minimum voltage drop occurs.
